Rio Alegre, MPH, BPH is a Customer Onboaring Manager at EcoVadis. She is an allied health care professional who has a passion for customer success and client management.
She got her Bachelors in Public Health at Brock University. During her time here, she was a Community Awareness Educator and then a Young Adult Peer Leader at Niagara Region, as well as a Cultural Assistant at Brock University and Tobacco Free Living tStudent at the Regional Municipality of York.
Rio continued on to get her Master of Public Health at Brock University. During her MPH, she was a Health Promotion Specialist Team Lead at Brock University, a Healthy Aging and Falls Prevention Student at The Regional Municipality of York, and was a Research Analyst Intern at Niagara Region Public Health.
She then moved into a Research Assistant, Epidemiology & Evaluation Services at Public Health Ontario after graduating and completing her internship. She then moved to a Health Promotion Specialist in Chronic Disease Prevention at City of Hamilton, then a Health Promotion Specialist in COVID-19 Team Lead. Rio then shifted into a Senior Program Consultant role in Healthcare Account Management in Program Development at Ontario Ministry of Health. She was then a Team Lead, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Ontario Ministry of the Solictor General. Rio currently works as a Customer Onboarding Manager at EcoVadis while doing pro-bono work to support allied health students and early career professionals.
