Myles Davenport, MPH is an Epidemiologist at D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. He has experience in supporting policy regulation and compliance.
Myles got his bachelors in Kinesiology with a Technology Entrepreneurship minor at University of Maryland. This was after getting an Associates Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy at Prince George’s Community College.
During his undergraduate degree, he was a Hillman Entrepreneur Scholarship Program, Certified Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy, a Maternal Child Health Careers/Leadership Education, Advocacy, & Research Network Intern at Kennedy Krieger Institute, and a Research Interviewer at IMPAQ International.
After graduating, Myles joined the Public Health Associated Program from the CDC. He then left before completing his term to get his Master of Public Health at the University of Maryland. While he was in his MPH, he was a HIPAA Analyst – Government Contractor for …. Then was promoted into a HIPAA Analyst II Triager for Senior Paralegal. He was also a Student Trainee for Administration Support at the FDA.
Myles is part of Black Men in Public Health, where he hopes to resuscitate the organization in the near future. He was then a Regulatory Health Program Manager for the FDA before staring his current role as an Epidemiologist for D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
