122: Starting Public Health Podcasting As a Student & Advocate with Jamil Locker

Jamil Locker is a public health student and student advocate at Flinders University in Australia. He also has two podcasts: Public Health World Podcast and WTF Vegan Podcasts.

He has gotten a Diploma of Nutrition at Torrens University Australia. He also started his first podcast WTF Vegan Podcast, a show about veganism, health, and the world, prior to getting his Nutrition Diploma.

Jamil then goes on to share more about his public health story and why he chose to get his Bachelors Degree in Public Health at Flinders University, where he currently is a student. At Flinders University, Jamil is a Student Representative helping guide the public health program.

Jamil began his second podcast, Public Health World Podcast, a podcast where he interviews people working or studying in public health and making a difference in the world.
