In this episode, I chat with Liz Simpler, MPH, CWWS about her public health journey thus far. Liz is the CEO and Co-Founder of WMC Public Health Consulting.
Liz got her Bachelors in Biology and Anthropology at Penn State University where she worked in several research laboratories. She then worked as an Account Manager at Vocus before finding her path to her Master of Public Health at Grand Canyon University.
She worked at Lifetime Fitness during her Master of Public Health as well as getting an internship at the Howard County Health Department where she got to work in various projects. After this she became the Central Region Coordinator at Healthiest Maryland.
Then Liz went on to be the CEO and Co-Founder of WMC Public Health Consulting a non-profit organization bridging the gap between wellness and family-hood. She has also worked as a Community Alignment Specialist at Partnership for Children of Cumberland County.
