Zamir is a systems-minded health policy analyst focused on leveraging an interdisciplinary multi-sector approach to ameliorate health inequities and their root causes to secure health justice for all.
He got his Associates Degree in Pre-medicine studies at Durham Technical Community College and completed his Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology at North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was first a exercise and sports science major before switching to global studies before switching over to anthropology after its focus on the social drivers and determinants of health.
He also had roles as a Health Enthusiast at The Vitamin Shoppe, Carolina Housing Undergraduate Health Advisor, Program Coordinator for Project Krav Maga, Environment & Health Intern at Integrative Health Policy Consortium as well as a Health Policy Intern at Center for Health Policy Leadership at Bsatyr University.
Zamir got his Master of Public Health at The George Washington University, Milken Institute School of Public Health. Throughout this he held various roles in the American Public Health Association (APHA) which he speaks extensively to on the show.
He has also been a Health Policy Fellow and AmeriCorps Member and has recently started his platform @Speaker4Health on twitter, instagram and soon the whole internet.
