Aliyha Hill, MPH is a Program Manager at Chicago Department of Public Health, is an adjunct Professor at University of Missouri College of Health Sciences, and is a Regional Director for Sisters in Public Health. She is a diligent and charismatic public health professional dedicated to improving and serving the communities towards a prosperous future.
She conferred Bachelor of Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences and minor in Spanish at University of Missouri-Columbia. While she was here, she worked as a Communications Coordinator at University of Missouri, a Teacher Assistant at Tiger Tots Academy, took part in a Costa Rica Global Leadership Engineers Program, was a Parent and Family Ambassador of Office of Parent Relations, and was Chair of Diversity and Inclusion Across School of Health Professionals Curriculum and Courses.
Aliyha then pursued her Master of Public Health in Veterinary Medicine at University of Missouri-Columbia. While she was here, she worked as a Graduate Assistant at Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, a Child and Maternal Health Educator Intern at Columbia/Boone County Health Department, a USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Internship at USDA
After graduation, Aliyha landed a Recovery Coordination Specialist role at FEMA. She then worked part time as aFamily Support Specialist at Parent Link.
Aliyha currently works as a Program Manager at Chicago Department of Public Health, as an Adjunct Professor at University of Missouri College of Health Professions, as a Regional Director for Sisters in Public Health, as well as a Writer with The Public Health Millennial.
