Indigenous, Black, People of Color Public Health Instagram Profiles to Follow into 2021

Here are some indigenous, black, people of color public health Instagram profiles to follow into 2021. I do acknowledge that I may be overlooking many other great IBPOC public health accounts on instagram. So do let me know any other accounts you find valuable.

As social media becomes a major medium to learn, congregate, and get health information. It will be important to have public health professionals spanning the vast field on these platforms. They will be able to share culturally appropriate information as well as become people that younger persons look up to as is the case with many other health related fields. Public health professionals on instagram is in it’s infancy and will continue to grow especially as the pandemic has put a spotlight on public health.

Representation matters so let’s get diverse people to the table or create entirely new tables.
