Darian Leta, MPH is a Senior Manager of Substance Use and Recovery Initiatives at Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. She is a Dominican and Puerto Rican Community Health Advocate committed to providing the best care to the most vulnerable populations in the world.

Darian conferred a Bachelors in Biology at Elmira College. During her time here she was a Summer Intern Pediatric/Adolescent Department Martha Elliot Health Center (Children’s Hospital Boston), as a Substitute Teacher at Anot Ogden Child Care Center, as a System Management Intern & Medical Services Volunteer at Arnot Health, and Intern at Medical Reserve Corps of Chemung County.

After graduating, she worked as an Office Volunteer/Human Resources EA at Partners in Health then a Community Health Researcher at Clinica De Familia La Romana before working as a Community Health Worked PACT at Justice Resource Institute.

Darian then went on to get her Master of Public Health at Boston University School of Public Health. DUring her time here, she worked as a Community Health Advocate Touch High Trust Program at Boston Medical Center, a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Instituto nacional de Salud Publica at Boston University, and as a Community Health Specialist at Peace Corps in Cameroon.

She then became an Infectious Disease Contract Manager at Massachusetts Department of Public bHealth. She now works as Senior Manager, Substance Use and Recovery Initiatives at Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.
