Megan Williams, PhD(c), MPH, CHES is a Sexuality Educator and PhD candidate in public health at University of Alabama as well as is the founder of Young Professionals of Sexual and Reproductive Health. She is passionate about improving sexual health outcomes of young adults by increasing sexual health care utilization, implementing comprehensive sexuality education, and exploring the components of sexual health intervention.

Megan got her Bachelors in Public Health at East Carolina University. During her time there she was Coach for East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club Inc then became a Facilities Manager. She then worked as a Research Assistant at East Carolina University School of Public Health and an Administrative Support Specialist at NC School Health Training Center.

She then went on to get her Master of Public Health in Behavior at East Carolina University. During her time here she was a project manager & graduate assistant at NC School Health Training Center, an Intern at NC Department of Health and Human Services, Head Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach an Junius H Rose High School, and Health 1000 Instructor at East Carolina University.

Megan is now a PhD candidate in Public Health Education & Promotion at The University of Alabama. She is a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Instructor at University of Alabama and a part time NCAA Volleyball Referee.

During her PhD, she previously was a NC Health Education Curriculum Review Focus Group Coordinator at NC School Health Training Center, and CDC School Health Index (SHI) Auditor at NC School Health Training Center.

Megan is also the Founder of Young Professionals of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
