Nakia Bolden, MPH, CHES, is an Adjunct Professor at University of Indianapolis, Executive Director of I AM Health Education, and is a Doctor of Health Science at University of Indianapolis.

She is committed to empowering individuals through education and promoting equitable access to health resources. With a strong dedication to making a positive impact in professional, academic, and community settings.

She conferred an Associates Degree in General Studies at Ivy Tech Community College then continued into Bachelors in Health Sciences and Health Promotion at Indiana University South Bend.

Nakia had several roles during undergraduate. These include Preventive Intern at AIDS Ministries/AIDS Assist, Medical Lab Assistant at Elkhart General Hospital, Health Promotion Specialist Intern at St Joseph County Department of Health, Assistant Athletic Trainer Aid at Indiana University South Bend, and a Lead Investigation Specialist Covid-19 at Guidant Global.

She then worked as a Communicable Disease Investigator at CDC Foundation and then as a Public Health Investigator at Indiana Department of Health.

Nakia then conferred a Master of Public Health at Indiana State University. During her time here, she Founded and began Executive Director at I Am Health Education as well as Vaccine Demand Strategist at CDC Foundation, and Disaster Program Intern at American Red Cross.

She then worked as a Cancer Support Strategic Partnership Manager at American Cancer Society. Then titled was changed to Associate Director of Community Partnerships.

She recently started her Doctor of Health Science at University of Indianapolis and works as an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Indianapolis.
