Jon is the President and CEO at RiverStone Health and Yellowstone County Health Officer.
He is a county health officer, beekeeper, board certified healthcare executive, eagle scout, and a transformational servant leader.
He conferred a Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Medical at University of Scranton. A Master of Health Administration at University of Scranton.
Jon Forte’s journey in healthcare leadership began with positions such as Burn/Trauma Tech at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Summer Session Assistant at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. He then transitioned to roles including Admissions and Registration Representative at Pocono Medical Center and Administrative Resident at the same institution. He also had internships as Community Health Research Intern at The Commonwealth Medical College and a Research Assistant/Epidemiologic Analyst at Northeast Regional cancer Institute.
Jon further honed his skills as a Graduate Health Administration Training Program Administrative Fellow at the US Department of Veterans Affairs where he networked with other healthcare executives and gained valuable experience in operations and emergency management. His dedication led him to roles such as Health Systems Specialist to Director at the VHA Office of Emergency Management and Chief Administrative Officer in Greenville, NC, where he continued to make significant contributions to healthcare administration.
Continuing his career trajectory, Jon served as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Choptank Community Health System, where he played a pivotal role in advancing community health initiatives. His commitment to excellence in healthcare leadership is evidenced by his Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) certification. Jon’s professional journey culminates in his current role as President and CEO, Yellowstone County Health Officer at RiverStone Health, where he leads vital public health initiatives aimed at improving community well-being
