Miriam Gonzales, BS, CHES works as a Public health Consultant II – Health Education at the New Jersey Department of Health. She is a resilient have a resilient, self-motivated, and productive individual with 11+ years of experience in patient care, customer service, and health education in both the private and public sector and also has her Certified Health Education Specialist Credential.
Miriam got started after high school at the County College of Moors in Randolph, New Jersey. She then went on to Rutgers University to get her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health Education and Advocacy. During her undergraduate, she was an intern at Varident where she acquired her Google Analytics Certificate.
After graduating, Miriam became a Patient Care Technician at Hunterdon Healthcare and then transited into an Ambulatory Testing Center Coordinator role. She then got Certified Health Education Specialist.
Miriam then got a role as a Health Educator at Trenton Health Team. And she now works as a Public Health Consultant II at New Jersey Department of Health.
Miriam is going to be pursing her Masters of Health Care Leadership in 2023 as she would like to develop deeper leadership skills while continuing to work with communities.
