Interview with Keith E. Green II, MPH
Episode 114 of The Public Health Millennial Career Stories Podcast:
In this week’s episode, Keith E. Green II, MPH is a Program Manager at Institute for Capacity Building at the United Negro College Fund and a current Harvard University Strategic Data Project Fellow at Center for Education Policy and Research. He is an Enthusiastic Public Health practitioner who is a HBCU Thought Partner and Change Agent.
Keith got his Bachelors of Science at Clark Atlanta University. During his time here, he was a WCLK Intern at Clark Atlanta University. He then moved on to work in the US Navy as a Logistics Specialist. He then shifted into an Inventory Control at General Nutrition Centers, Inc before then becoming a Community Liaison at Another Chance of Atlanta.
Keith then pursued a Master of Public Health at Morehouse School of Medicine. During his time in his MPH program, Keith was a Student Intern at Kennedy-Satcher Center for Mental Health Equity, a Policy and Action Associate at the American Public Health Association, and a Community Research Analyst at Morehouse School of Medicine. He was also able to receive two graduate certificates: Emergency Preparedness as well as Social Media in Preparedness and Response at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
After graduating, he worked as a Researcher at the National Research Mentoring Network and got a Certificate in Data Analytics at Cornell University. He then shifted into a Research Assistant at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Keith currently works as a Program Manager at Institute for Capacity Building at the United Negro College Fund. He is also a Harvard University Strategic Data Project Fellow at Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University.
