110: Health Care Consultant and Bioethicist with Srushhti Trivedi, MHSc, B.Tech

Interview with Srushhti Trivedi, MHSc, B.Tech

Episode 110 of The Public Health Millennial Career Stories Podcast:

Srushhti Trivedi, MHSc, B.Tech is a Consultant at Amaris Consulting while also being a STEM and GEC Instructor at Engineering Outreach Office at the University of Toronto. Srushhti is a health science consultant, educator, and ethicist.

She began her collegiate career with a Bachelors of Technology in Medical Biotechnology at Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth India. During her time here she was a Summer Trainee at the National Institute of Research in Reproductive Health as well as a Project Trainee at TATA Memorial Hospital.

Srushhti graduated and went on to get her master of Health Sciences in Bioethics with a focus on bioethics and medical ethics at the University of Toronto. During her time in graduate school, Srushhti had many roles. These included an Early Learner Assistant at Kumon Canada, a University Representative at Canadian Bioethics Society, for Public Health Ontario as a Bioethics Practicum Placement and Capstone Project Lead, was an Executive Council Member for the PUBlic Health Student Association at Dalla Lana School of Public Health, Graduate student representative at University of Toronto Bioethics Society, a Practicum Student at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, and a Quality Improvement Project Member at University of Toronto Chapter of Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Additionally, she worked as an Academic Preparation mentor for 1 month while she began and continues to work as a STEM Instructor and GEC Instructor at Engineering Outreach Office of University of Toronto.

After graduating, she was able to work as a Research Study Assistant at St. Michael’s Hospital. She is an Advisory Committee Member at missINFORMED. She has also completed a Mini-MBA Course by McMaster GMCA. Srushhti currently works as a Consultant at Amaris Consulting.
