Winston Wellington Wright, MPH, is a health equity strategist, consultant, and co-founder of Brothers in Public Health.

He is a passionate public health leader committed to advancing healthcare equity through community engagement, workforce development, and strategic health system transformation. Winston brings experience across hospital administration, consulting, and nonprofit leadership, with a focus on building inclusive systems that better serve historically underserved communities.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Fisk University and a Master of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine.

Winston began his career as an Administrative Intern at Duke University Health System, where he worked on social determinants of health screening and population health initiatives. He later served as a Hospital Administrative Fellow at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in hospital operations, policy, and strategic leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He then transitioned into roles at BJC Health System, first as a Program Manager and now as a Senior Consultant, where he leads health equity, inclusion, and community engagement initiatives across one of the largest academic health systems in the country.

In addition to his health system work, Winston serves as Co-Founder of Brothers in Public Health, a national nonprofit dedicated to increasing the representation and leadership of men of color in public health, while building community, mentorship, and pathways for the next generation of leaders.
