Nishat Uddin, MPH is the Founder & CEO at South Asian Care.

She’s a passionate public health leader and communicator with a career that bridges health equity, strategic communications, and culturally responsive care.

She conferred a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UC San Diego. She then continued on to complete a Master of Public Health specialization in Communications and Marketing at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Nishat held early communications roles. These included Internal Communication Specialist at PatientPop Inc (now Tebra), and Healthcare Communications Specialist at Syneos Health. She then worked as s Senior Associate, Healthcare for Weber Shandwick followed by a role as Manager at Real Chemistry.

She then moved into more leadership roles as Account Director at GCI Health and then Vice President, Health at Edelman.

Nishat then founded South Asian Care in early 2023 where she holds the role as CEO. South Asian Care is a digital platform dedicated to addressing the unique health challenges faced by the South Asian community.
