Kwame is the Founder and CEO of bEHR Health Systems, where he is creatively addressing health equity by leveraging technology and culture. 

Kwame is a health equity visionary leveraging tech innovation, cultural connection, and data-driven solutions to transform Black community wellness. In April 2025, he broke a world record by walking over 2 million steps in 30 days to spotlight the launch of the bEHR Health app. His lifelong dedication to health is reflected in his decade-long plant-based lifestyle and commitment to preventive wellness.

From his days as a student researcher to launching health tech with global impact, Kwame blends endurance, innovation, and activism to reimagine how communities engage with health.

He conferred a Bachelor’s in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana. Then a Master of Public Health in Health Equity at Xavier University of Louisiana. During his time there, he was a Graduate Research Assistant at XULA Health Disparities Research & Education Center.

He then became an Entrepreneur Fellow and Project Manager at techPLUG followed by Research roles at Brown University, UCLA, and Xavier University.

Kwame then worked as a Farmer at WWOOF-USA®. He has participated in many accelerator programs like Plug In Ventures, Harvard iLabs, HBCU Founders Initiative)

He is the Founder & CEO at bEHR Health Systems where they are reshaping health culture.
