Dr. Quinyatta Mumford, DrPH, MPH, CHES, is the MPH Program Director and Assistant Professor at New York Institute of Technology. She believes to enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind.
Quinyatta conferred her Bachelors of Biology at The University of Alabama Huntsville then went on to get her Master of Public Health in Community Health and Prevention Medicine at Walden University.
After graduating, she became a Lead Based Paint Epidemiologist at Arkansas Department of Health.
She had several other roles at the Arkansas Department of Health. These included being a Public Health Preparedness Epidemiologist, an Enteric Disease Epidemiologist, a Covid-19 Epidemiologist, and Director at the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care.
Quinyatta has also been the Founder and CEO at Mumford and Associates for over six years.
She then pursued a Doctor of Public Health at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Quinyatta has worked as an Adjunct Professor at New York Institute of Technology and still works as one at Southern Arkansas University.
She also works in a contract role as Chief Informatics Officer at the CDC Foundation.
Quinyatta is the MPH Program Director and Assistant Professor at New York Institute of Technology.
