Asli McCullers, BS is a Health Equity Research Associate at MedStar Health, a Graduate Research Assistant at University of Delaware, Founder Director of Leaders in Equity, Access, and Diversity in Public Health as well as an Associate Student Contributor with The Public Health Millennial.
She is an aspiring public health leader with a passion for health equity, social justice, and helping others by spreading joy.
Asli conferred a Bachelor of Biology from Towson University. During her time here she was a Peer Leader at Towson Opportunities in STEM, an Inpatient Oncology Clinical Volunteer, a Research Intern at University of Maryland School of Public Health, a Health Equity Intern at Maryland Department of Health, a Susan G. Komen Health Equity Intern, and a Diverse Minds Peer Educator.
She then pursued a Post Baccalaureate in Clinical and Population Health Research at UMass Chan Medical School where she was a Post-Baccalaureate Scholar.
Asli then pursued a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at University of Delaware. During her time here she was a Program Intern at Black Women’s Health Imperative, the Founding Director for Leaders in Equity, Access, and Diversity in Public Health at University of Delaware, an Associate Student Contributor at The Public Health Millennial.
She also had several roles at University of Delaware such as Intercultural Engagement Student Leader, Social Justice Peer Educator, and Graduate Research Assistant. Alongside this, Asli works as a Health Equity Research Associate at MedStar Health, a Young Adult Mental Health & Community Health Trainee at Morehouse School of Medicine, and a Youth Trainer for Truth Initiative.
Asli has recently committed to University of Maryland, College Park to pursue a doctorate degree in Behavioral and Community Health.
