Kimberly Green-Warren, MPH is the Founder of SMART Health Education LLC as well as works as Director of Healthcare Programs at The Health Management Academy. She is someone who loves designing programs but hates to sell herself. She has 10 years of designing, implementing, and evaluation of professional development programs for public health professional and health care executives.
She got her bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion at The University of Georgia. During her time here she worked as a Childhood Obesity Initiative Coordinator at American Diabetes Association as well as a Health Promotion & Wellness Coordinator at Emory Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.
After graduating she decided to take part in the AmeriCorps, and specifically HealthCorps as a Health and Fitness Advocate at Health Federation of Philadelphia.
Kimberly was then able to get her Master of Public Health at Emory University. During her MPH she was a Health Education Specialist at GetHealthy, a Community Scholar at NeighborWorks America, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Emory Prevention Research Center.
After graduating, she secured a Fellowship at Health Initiative NeighborWorks America. Kimberly then transitioned to a Research Scientist at Health Determinants & Disparities Practice at CSRA Inc. Then moved to be a Manager of Education at America’s Essential Hospitals.
