Julia Neely, MPH, CHES is a Program Coordinator for HPV Cancer Prevention at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is someone who believes every lived experience directly or indirectly influences a person’s health. And that each person has the responsibility to contribute to health equity.
She got her bachelors of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida, after doing some of her undergraduate general coursework at the University of Southern Mississippi. During her time here she worked in Food Services from working the dish room to then shifting into a Patient Services Specialist 1 role at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Julia then went on to get her Master of Public Health in health education and promotion at the University of Southern Mississippi. After graduating she worked as a Community Outreach Worker at Moffitt Cancer Center and then got promoted into a Health Education Specialist position.
She then transitioned to work as a Community Outreach Coordinator at BayCare Health System where she was able to get a community benefit specialist certificate. Julia has also received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Development.
Julia now works as a Program Coordinator for HPV Cancer Prevention at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
