Kate Carmody, MPH is a Program Associate at ABIM Foundation as well as a Freelance Healthcare Public Relations Specialist at Comprehensive Care Center.
Kate got her Bachelors in public health and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies at the College of Charleston. During her time here, she was a Communications Coordinator & Research Assistant at College of Charleston Women’s Health Research Team. She also spent a semester in Italy at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia where she continued her public health studies.
Kate got her Master of Public Health online at the University of New England. She worked as a health educator at Atlantic Health System throughout this time. She also was a Public Health Intern at West Africa AIDS Foundation (WAAF). Additionally, she was an MPH Intern at American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has also worked as a freelance Healthcare Public Relations Specialist at Comprehensive Care Center. And currently works as a Program Associate at ABIM Foundation. Kate also serves on the steering committee for the Public Health Young Leaders Association Network.
