Dr. Tista Ghosh is Senior Vice President of Employee Health – Edwards Lifesciences.
Tista is a physician, epidemiologist, and public health leader with over two decades of experience spanning local, state, national, and corporate health systems.
She is also the Author of “Before the Next Crisis: Untold Stories of Public Health and Why They Matter” where she shares real pandemic-era stories to remind us of what we must carry forward – and what we cannot afford to forget.
Tista conferred a Bachelors degree in Molecular Biology and International Studies at Northwestern University. Then she pursued her Doctor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She later earned a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Public Health.
She held internship and shorter roles as Intern for World Health Organization, a Consultant for Save the Children, a Consultant for UNICEF Innocenti Research Center.
Her early career started as a Resident Physician and soon transitioned to Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the CDC. She was then a Medical Epidemiologist at Tri-County Health Department and was an Ascend Fellow with the Aspen Institute.
Director of Epidemiology, Planning, and Evaluation for the Tri-County Health Department in Colorado. She then became the Chief Medical Officer at Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Tista was an appointed member of the U.S. Community Preventive Services Task Force, which is a federal advisory committee focused on evidence-based public health recommendations.
She now serves as the Senior Vice President of Employee Health – Edwards Lifesciences.
