We have Dr. Michelle (Lawrence) Bidwell, MPH is the Founder and CEO of Granted Advisors LLC.
She is an impact expert who specializes in grant writing, program planning, and equity-focused evaluation technologies. Michelle’s passion for this field began at an early age, influenced by her upbringing in New Orleans and the impact of Hurricane Katrina.
She conferred a Bachelors in Psychology and Chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana. She then got a Master of Public Health at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She will soon complete a PhD in Community Health Sciences at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Michelle Bidwell has a multifaceted career spanning various roles within the public health sector. Beginning as a Pharmacological Researcher at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, she delved into the scientific realm before transitioning to roles such as Assistant Program Coordinator at Louisiana Cancer Prevention & Control Programs and later as Director of Impact and Evaluation at Baston Community Resilience. These positions honed her skills in program coordination and evaluation methodologies, respectively. Michelle further broadened her expertise as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Acceleraise, focusing on strategic planning and organizational development. However, her entrepreneurial drive led her to found Granted Advisors LLC, where she serves as CEO, dedicating her efforts to assisting organizations in expanding their impact through grant writing, program planning, and equity-centered evaluation technologies. This trajectory, guided by her passion for public health stemming from her upbringing in New Orleans and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, underscores Michelle’s commitment to improving health outcomes and serving disadvantaged communities.
