Dr. Jasel Martin, DrPH, MS, MBA, CHES is an Implementation Science Research Program Manager at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
She is an author, 3x entrepreneur, health promotion, health disparities & policy lecturer, Black wellness content creator, health diversity & community health expert, clinical nutritionist, and clinical exercise physiologist.
She conferred a Bachelor of Biology at Oakwood. She then started going to dental school before quitting and pursing her Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Jasel conferred her Master of Business Administration at University of Phoenix in Healthcare Administration. During her, time here she was a Medical Services Specialist/Team leader at Georgia Department of Human Resources.
She then conferred a Masters of Science Fitness and Health Promotion at Georgia State University and a Clinical Internship in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Emory University. While here she worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Internship at Emory University Hospital Lifestyle & Health Scientist at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Jasel then conferred the Doctor of Public Health at Loma Linda University. She worked at Andrews University in various roles during this time. Including Assistant Department Chair of Public Health, Nutrition & Wellness, Assistant Professor, Program Director of Fitness & Exercise Science, and Adjunct Faculty.
After this, she then pursued a Post Doctoral Fellow at University of Maryland Baltimore – Health Services Research.
She then worked in several roles Population Health Program Director at Healthcare Dynamics International, Technical Expert Panel Member at US Department of Health and Human Services, Clinical Quality Program Administrator at Anthem, Inc, Program Director, Quality Management at AmeriHealth Caritas.
Jasel was then the Executive Program Director at Colorado Technical University. She works as a professional lecturer University of Phoenix & The George Washington University.
She works as Chief Executive Officer at the VIV Wellness Academy and Founder & Chief Contributor at The Heal The Public Collaborative.
Jasel now works as a Implementation Science Program Manager at University of Texas Southwestern. She recently shifted into this position from the Senior Population Science Research Manager position.
