Simay Okyay McNutt, MPH is a Health Policy and Reimbursement Consultant. She manages device and medtech clients and consults them on coding, coverage, and payment issues, with specialization in Medicare.

She got her Bachelor in Biological Chemistry and Women, Gender, and Sexuality at University of Virginia. During her time here she was an Intern, Mentor, Group Facilitator at Young Women Leaders Program.

After graduating she worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at Clifton Care LLC. She also got involved in her community through Board positions. She was an Associate Board Member (Northern Virginia Chapter) of Girls on the Run International and a Board Member at UVaClub of Washington DC.

Simay then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health at The George Washington University – Milken Institute School of Public Health. While she was in her MPH she worked as a Policy Research & Communications Intern at Applied Policy. She later got promoted during her MPH to a Health Policy Associate position.

After graduating, Simay then moved into Senior Health Policy Associate at Applied Policy and was later promoted into her current role as Health Policy Manager.
