Taylor D. Humphries, MPH is a Program Manager at Bond Community Health Center and a Community Health Worker there also. You can find Taylor on IG at @blackwomaninpublichealth and host of A Black Woman in Public Health Podcast. She works towards implementing policies to grant access to quality healthcare for people of color.
She got her Associates Degree in General biology at Barry University then her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services, Allied Health, Health Sciences at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (Florida A&M).
Taylor took a gap year after undergrad to work and figure out her next steps. During this time she worked as a Department Secretary at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
She then decided to pursue a Master of Public Health focused in policy at Florida State University. During her time here she was a medical scheduler at Women’s Imaging at Radiology Associates of Tallahassee, a Graduate Student Intern at Leon County Health Department, was a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
After graduating Taylor became a Public Health Case Investigator at Kansas Department of Health and Environment. She is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at Florida State University’s bachelors program. Community Health Worker & NHCI/SMBP Program Coordinator/Manager at Bond Community Health Center.
She created the Black Woman in Public Health platform and the A Black Women in Public Health Podcast.
