In today’s episode, we have Jesenia Angeles, MPH, who is the Founder and CEO of Cosmica Consulting LLC and works as a Health Policy Manager at a Policy Center. She is a multi-passionate creative, business owner, show host and much more.

Jesenia got her Bachelors Degree in Epidemiology at University of Rochester. During her time here, she took Master of Public Health courses in Epidemiology and studied abroad at University of Oxford in the IES Health, Practice and Policy Program.

After graduating, she did non-degree Master of Public health courses at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy then worked as a Program Manager/Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Mount Sinai Health System.

Jesenia then decided to get her Master of Public Health in International Health & Development at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. During her time here, she did an internship as an Epidemiologist: Disease Sruveillance Ananlyst at t Dirección General de Epidemiología, Ministerio de Salud Pública. She also worked at Tulane University as a Graduate Research Assistant, Office Assistant, Research Assistant, Monitoring & Evaluation Team Lead & Supervisor, and Co-Founder and Co-Director of Birthing During Covid-19.

After getting her MPH, she Founded Cosmica Consulting LLC, a strategic healthcare strategy firm serving as a operations expert, monitoring & evaluation specialist, & business consultant delivering high-impact solutions for organizations, business professionals, and entrepreneurs.

Jesenia has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at San Jose State University and Epidemiologist/Data Scientist at CDC through Chenega Enterprises and currerntly works as a Health Policy manager at a Policy Center.
