Kristi Sprowl, MPH, CHES is a Community Impact Director at American Heart Association and Urban Leaders Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship. She is also currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health at The University of Georgia. Kristi is an enthusiastic public health advocate and practitioner whose experiences are centered on using social justice frameworks to address health inequities in underrepresented populations.
She conferred her bachelors in health sciences, community health at California State University. After graduating, she became a Program Manager at Powersource Tucson. She then started her Master of Public Health (MPH) at University of Arizona.
During her time in her MPH, Kristi worked in her previous role as a Powersource Tucson. She also worked as a Community Planner at Pima County Community Development & Neighborhood Conservation, a Health Prevention Specialist at University of Arizona Campus Health, a Research Assistant at University of Arizona, and Clinical Research Coordinator at University of Arizona.
After her MPH, she then transitioned into a full time role at University of Arizona as a Clinical Research Coordinator before becoming a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Emory University. Kristi then went on to Senior Public Health Educator role at Fulton County Board of Health, was a Health Equity Fellow at University of Georgia College of Public Health as well as an Urban Leaders Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship.
Kristi was also a Health Policy Intern at Georgia State University and now works as the Community Impact Director at American Heart Association. Kristi is also currently a Doctor of Public Health student at The University of Georgia.
