Toska Cooper, MPH, CHES is a Project Manager at UNC Injury Prevention Center as well as serves as a Health Service Officer at the Public Health Service Ready Reserve. She is also someone dedicated to people – a motivator, connector, and IT enthusiast.
Toska got her Bachelors in Kinesiology in Fitness Leadership at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She then worked in AmeriCorps before starting and completing her Master of Public Health at West Virginia University.
After graduating, she became a Public Health Conusltant at North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Then moved into a Program Coordinator role at UNC Injury Prevention Center where she was then promoted to a Project Manager which she currently works at. She also serves as a Health Service Officer at the Public Health Service Ready Reserve.
Toska speaks to the importance of professional development in the form of certificates. She has her Health Informatics Graduate Certificate and Project Management Graduate Certificate from East Carolina University as well as has her Certified Health Education Specialist certificate.
