Episode 68 of Public Health Careers

Brittaney Jenkins, BS, CHES is the CEO & Founder of Jenkins Public Health Consulting, LLC while also working full time as a Director at a world renown medical center.

Brittaney began her undergraduate career in nursing at Indiana State before switching over to get her Bachelors in Public Health Education from Ball State University. She also received a minor in Interpersonal Relations. During her time she was an intern at the Delaware County Public Health Department as well as volunteered at the American Red Cross.

Before graduating, Brittaney was able to secure a job as a Community Health Screener at the Marion County Public Health Department. She was then promoted into an Environmental Health Specialist job before moving into a Chronic Disease Health Educator & Communications Specialist all at the same organization.

Brittaney then moved and got a role as a Director for world renown medical center where she currently still works.

Brittaney started her business, Jenkins Public Health Consulting after first seeing a need for better outreach from various public health stakeholders. She offers many services and will soon host an Impact Program focused on passing the CHES exam. She has also received a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Development.
