Episode 5 of Public Health Careers

Lovely Davilmar, BSHP, is Health Analyst for IMPAQ International working in the Pharmaceutical Health Services Division. She shares how being part of Boys n Girls Club at an early age helped shape her professional view of life. Through this she developed many leadership skills and showed her go-getter attitude. She is a first-generation TRIO University of Central Florida Scholar where she completed her Bachelors of Science in Health Science in 2019.

Lovely shares how important networking has been for her career as well as having mentorships to get tips on her career journey. Through her various experiences Lovely has been able to work in a role that helps her build on skills she knows are important for her future career. And with goals of running her own behavioral health organization, she is truly on the right path. She would like to pursue a Dual Master of Public Health and Master of Business Administration as she sees the importance of knowing cost-benefit and other economic perspectives in public health.
