Naissa Piverger, MPH is currently a Public Health Advisor with the Center for Disease Control in Greater Hartford, Connecticut. She’s an Experienced Clinical Research Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry.

Prior to her undergraduate career, Naissa was a volunteer at a soup kitchen where she learnt about the impact she could have working with people. She began her Bachelors at Caldwell University studying nursing, but then switched to Public Health Education & Promotion.

She worked as an Assistant Teacher at Little Stages and as well as a Writing Tutor during her time at Caldwell University. Naissa then worked as a CVS Pharmacy Technician.

Naissa got her Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. During her time here she started the Public Health Interest group to get herself and students exposure to different public health careers. She also worked as a Health Promotion Coordinator Intern an NYU and then a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Population Health & Policy.

After graduating from her MPH, Naissa became a Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Public Health Associate Program member where she currently works as a Public Health Advisor in Hartford, Connecticut.
