Dr. Angelica Hardee is Vice President, Health Strategies with the American Heart Association as well as is the Principal Consultant for Dr. Hardee Consulting and is an adjunct assistant professor at two universities. She someone with the goal to increase collective efficacy by granting communities the power to change their quality of life.

Angelica got her Bachelors in Public Health Education & Promotion at University of Cincinnati. During her time there she worked at University of Cincinnati as a Researcher, Student Worker, and Learning Community Peer Leader before being a Community Research Intern at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She was then a Project IMHOTEP Intern at Morehouse College.

Angelica then pursued her Master Degree in Community Health at University of Cincinnati and her PhD in Public Health Education & Promotion at University of Cincinnati. During her time here she was a Volunteer Intern at Crossroad Health Center, Community Health Educator at YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. She also worked as an Administration Team Member at This Week in Global Health and worked at University of Cincinnati as a Graduate Assistant at Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, Graduate Student Worker at Center for Community Engagement, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and a Senior Researcher at Africana Health Lab.

After graduating, Angelica became the Senior Manager, Gen-H at The Health Collaborative then become an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Cincinnati and Tulane University. She also started her own consulting business, Dr. Hardee Consulting, where she is the Principal Consultant. Angelica currently works as the Vice President of Health Strategies at the American Heart Association.
